What happened in the WWE SummerSlam match between Enzo and Big Cass vs. Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens?

At WWE SummerSlam, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho battled Enzo Amore and Big Cass. This feud has been built up for the past month. An odd pairing formed in this, as Owens and Jericho are somewhat of a team. KO promised to be Jericho’s bodyguard against Enzo and Cass, thinking he’d need one. This team has since gone head to head with The Realest Guys.

So, what would happen in this match at SummerSlam?

How could you not start SummerSlam with Enzo and Big Cass cutting a promo for the Barclays Center crowd? They opened the event by getting everyone hyped up.

Enzo got a brief upper hand on Jericho and tagged in Big Cass. Y2J hilariously sprinted away, which led to Owens tagging in and going to brawl with the seven-footer.

Enzo and Cass continued their momentum on Owens and Jericho, including Amore being tossed over the ropes to fly onto the heels.

Finally, the Jericho and Owens would get control, and go forward with dominating Enzo. Amore played the “face in peril” role for a few minutes. Owens and Jericho would go for numerous near-falls, but with nothing coming from it.

After an Owens frog splash, Enzo finally began working a comeback, dodging a cannonball and hitting Cass for the hot tag. The faces then set up for their finisher, but Cass and Enzo were taken out by Owens. This led to a launching Codebreaker for the win for Owens and Jericho.
