Bayley made her long-awaited WWE RAW debut on the August 22 episode from Brooklyn, NY, the night after SummerSlam 2016

Bayley has been one of the biggest stars, not just in NXT, but in all of WWE for quite some time. Anyone with any kind of knowledge regarding wrestling can see that she’s a near can’t-miss superstar. However, the question has long been when she was going to get the call-up from NXT.

Many thought that Bayley’s call-up would happen as part of the WWE Draft. Alas, Bayley was not among the NXT superstars brought up to the main roster. Even when she was announced as Sasha Banks’ mystery partner at WWE Battleground, it still wasn’t her official main roster debut.

However, that all looked like it was about to change after SummerSlam weekend. Bayley competed for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II against Asuka. After losing in that match, though, she seemed to linger as if this was a final goodbye. And it turns out that was exactly the case.

Monday night on WWE RAW again from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, Charlotte was out in the ring gloating over the beginning of here second reign as Women’s Champion. When she was about to leave, though, Mick Foley’s music hit. After a few words, the champ said that no one was left to challenge her. That’s when the music of everyone’s favorite hugger hit:

"Welcome the newest member of the Monday Night #RAW roster…@itsBayleyWWE! @RealMickFoley https://t.co/qdaotpH9oY— WWE (@WWE) August 23, 2016"

Just listen to that pop from the Brooklyn crowd. Not only are they the perfect group to debut her in front of, but it just shows how over she is.

Moreover, Bayley’s debut makes all the more sense now that Charlotte is the champion as a heel. That eases the blow of Sasha losing the belt just a bit. Now let’s see just how wildly popular she can get as she tries to topple the Women’s champ right off the bat.

For what it’s worth, Bayley’s WWE RAW debut was immediately after she debuted. She faced Dana Brooke in a match that, predictably, she won.
