Check out how runes come in handy in Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Nintendo has released a fifth clip giving us a closer look at how runes and other items can be used to our advantage in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

It’s hard not to think that Nintendo is going to reveal something big in the coming months. It may even be in September, since they’ve already hinted at an event that will reveal their brand-new console, the Nintendo NX, and maybe some other things to go along with it. Over the past few weeks, Nintendo has used multiple media outlets, like Facebook and Twitter, to reveal brand-new gameplay footage for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The funny thing is they’ve used different accounts to reveal all these different clips, which is pretty cool. Anyways, all of these clips have been very brief, but very cool to see. Each snippet of gameplay focuses on something different. For example, the first clip showcased the brand-new Temple of Time in Breath of the Wild, which looks incredible. The second clip revealed that the Koroks from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker will also be returning to the game, which was a nice little detail.

The other footage has focused solely on the gameplay. We got a look at the cooking and woodcutting in the game and we got a new look at one of the many shrines that we’ll be playing in.

In the new footage that was released on Monday by Nintendo of Europe’s Twitter account, we got a look at how we’ll use runes and other things to help us advance in our journey.

"Runes certainly can come in handy! #Zeldahttps://t.co/amGSOdbcnB— Nintendo of Europe (@NintendoEurope) August 22, 2016"

We see Link use certain items to his advantage with his brand new magnesis ability. He creates platforms out of the water to walk on and he uses bombs and barrels to defeat some enemies, which was awesome to see.

Expect some more footage as times goes by and a release date for Breath of the Wild should be revealed very soon. It has been confirmed to release in 2017 on both the Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo NX.
