In retired life, Marshawn Lynch is still finding a way to help the Seattle Seahawks – only this time, it’s with financial advice for players.
For the first time since the 2006 season, Marshawn Lynch will not be taking the field for a NFL team this year. After nine seasons with both the Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks, the man who coined the term “Beast Mode” will be watching others run for first downs and take the punishment of a NFL player.
Now, that doesn’t mean that Lynch will be away from the field completely. He’s still working with his former teammates and helping them get ready for both the 2016 campaign – and life after football with their retirement.
You see, in a recent ESPN interview, wide receiver Tyler Lockett talked about all the help Lynch has been when it comes to something more important than first downs: getting your money right for life after the game:
"“Marshawn helps me with a lot of things as far as understanding my worth,” Lockett said. “He’s a great guy. Even at practice, he’s helped us with the 401k, talked to us about that. He helps us with a lot of stuff.”"
That’s right! Who needs H&R Block when you’ve got Beast & Mode Lynch there to help make sure you’re good to go come retirement time. There are probably be all there who are saying Lynch isn’t someone who should be giving out financial advice — and they would be dead wrong.

Lynch has made himself into a name brand that is known by both football fans and those who can’t stand the game. He’s sold shorts, shoes, hats, been a part of movies and media that has been profitable to the point where he could walk away at the age of 30. If anyone should be giving advice, it’s Beast Mode.
