32. Rex Ryan – Buffalo Bills

Rex Ryan, President of the United States is a phrase that should stoke fear in the hearts of many. In today’s hyper-complex  landscape, where every major issue must be handled so delicately in regards to politics, and where there’s a high level of finesse required for even the most seemingly mundane decisions, Ryan as President would be like putting a first-grader behind the wheel of a Maserati. Crashing, burning, de-limbing motorists — it’s all in play.

Make no mistake: Ryan is a fine football coach. Anyone who denies that Ryan is above-average in regards to the product he put on the field is either delusional or angry at Ryan for some wholly unrelated reason (likely a justifiable one, for what it’s worth). However, he’s also a guy who quite blatantly attracts a media firestorm seemingly on the daily. He’d be a scandal waiting to happen, be it behind closed doors or simply because he can’t stop running his jaw.

So while the policies of a President Ryan — how he’d be able to maneuver things while in office — might not be totally bat-crap crazy, he’s wholly lacking in what’s required on a social and cultural level. It’s called nuance, and Ryan’s utter lack of it is the single biggest reason he’s dead last on our list.
