Is Samsung releasing a Galaxy Note 7 Injustice Edition?

Samsung’s biggest phone to beat might’ve just gotten even better.

The Galaxy Note 7 is the king of the Samsung family. It’s the older brother to the Galaxy S7 Edge, which splashed into the marketplace and introduced consumers to curved displays only a few short years ago.

As Apple and Samsung continue to fight in the marketplace, Samsung is going out of their way to make their phones even more special. Thanks to Android Authority and a series of leaked images, it looks like the Note 7 may be getting the Injustice treatment.

The theme is based on 2013’s Injustice: Gods Among Us video game from NetherRealm. The photos depict a system-wide skin that will give a user a unique dial pad and Batman-esque color scheme. With a really good imagination, you could almost pretend you’re a member of the Justice League.

As cool as it sounds, the phone will cost more than a $1,000 to purchase. The S7 Edge version retailed for about $1,035 and the Note is always more expensive. Additionally, the phones might only be available in China.

On a less flashy note, Android began rolling out their new operating system “Nougat” today. Beginning with their Nexus devices, the update tends to hit devices in waves depending on which carrier you have. If you buy a new Note 7 now, you’ll most likely still be on the Marshmallow operating system.

Other noteworthy features of the Note 7 include a dual-edge display, better battery life, expandable memory, and all the other cool features you expect from Samsung. In fact, you don’t even need the Injustice-themed version to have the best phone on the market.

But let’s be honest: if we could get our hands on a fancy Injustice Galaxy Note 7, we would. And then, we’d put a phone case on it to protect it and probably hide the Bat-logo anyway.
