Did the Dudley Boyz hint at a possible retirement announcement on RAW earlier in the day on Monday
With WWE SummerSlam now out of the way, it’s time to move on with the stories throughout the rest of the year, as some of the talent will see a reset going forward. However, there might be one particular legendary tag team that might not be in the plans in the near future — the Dudley Boyz.
After appearing on the SummerSlam card on Sunday night, both Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley took to their Twitter machines, as Bubba calls them, and they both seemed to hint that their time in the company has come to an end for this most recent stint.
Whatever the case may be, these following tweets really has everyone on the internet talking with RAW just a few hours away now.
Thanks for a great year @WWE and @WWEUniverse. Its time. See you on #RAW and see ya down the road. 👍🤓

One year ago we came back to the @WWE and to the @WWEUniverse . now it's time to say goodbye tonight on raw ...

Now, yes, after you see those tweets, it’s very easy to just come to the conclusion that they’re either hanging up the wrestling boots for good or are just moving on from their most recent stint with the biggest professional wrestling company in the world.

There is also, however, the chance that this will be worked into a storyline at the moment. There has been a lot of speculation lately that a break up might be in the cards, and announcers have even hinted to miscommunication issues throughout their most recent losing streak. At SummerSlam on Sunday night, the legendary team suffered yet another loss, this time to Neville and Sami Zayn.
No one knows what’s going to happen as of yet, but it looks like the Dudley Boyz will have a segment on Monday night that you probably won’t want to miss.
