However, it feels as if that high-variance of outcomes is more widespread than normal as we’re in Week 3 of the NFL preseason. Nonetheless, two teams that fit that billing will face off on Friday night. The Pittsburgh Steelers will be under the roof of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for a matchup with the New orleans Saints.

Without question, the Steelers at full-strength are one of the NFL’s most potent offensive attacks. The issue, though, is that they aren’t going to be at full strength to start the year. Thus, DeAngelo Williams needs to really start showing fire as the Le’Veon Bell replacement to start the year. Moreover, guys on the outside like Sammie Coates need to step up also to replace the hole left by Martavis Bryant.

As for the Saints, they were admittedly horrible at many times last season. However, Drew Brees still had the offense humming for stretches as well. With a couple moves this offseason and natural progression of young players, New Orleans is hoping to take steps forward both offensively and defensively. Pittsburgh, at the very least, offers the Saints the opportunity to do just that.
