If you need an indication of how one offseason can change, look no further than the Denver Broncos. After winning Super Bowl 50, this is a vastly different team—on the offensive side of the ball at least. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams have undergone major changes of their own, most notably a move to the west coast. In Week 3 of the NFL preseason, these two teams will do battle at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Saturday.

The Broncos currently find themselves in the midst of an odd quarterback battle. Despite signing Mark Sanchez, it’s been Trevor Siemian and rookie Paxton Lynch that’ve been more impressive under-center. At this point in the preseason, you’d like to have that stuff figured out. But it definitely doesn’t seem like the Broncos are there at this point. Considering that Von Miller and the defense don’t really need to be bothered, that needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.

Jared Goff has been the story for this Rams team in the preseason as the No. 1 overall pick from the 2016 draft. However, the Cal product has been inconsistent at best in his first foray into the NFL. Thus, the Rams would like for him to show more so that he can show signs of taking the starting job sooner rather than later. Other than that, the Rams are just looking for improved performance virtually everywhere that Todd Gurley and Aaron Donald aren’t.
