According to a recent reports, the Dallas Cowboys are receiving multiple trade offers for RB Darren McFadden.
After a strong 2015 season, Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden is receiving a lot of attention on the trade market. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Cowboys “have received calls from teams seeking to trade for (McFadden).”
The #Cowboys have received calls from teams seeking to trade for RB Darren McFadden, source said. DAL really wants to keep him, though.

McFadden was fantastic for the Cowboys last season, rushing for 1,089 yards on the season. His 4.6 yards per carry average was the best he had performed since 2011. McFadden rushed for 5.4 yards per carry with the Oakland Raiders that season, but it was only on 113 carries compared to 239 with the Cowboys last season.
Despite his breakthrough campaign last year, McFadden is not expected to make as much of an impact in Dallas this season. The Cowboys drafted Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, and he is expected to carry the load at running back as a rookie.
With Elliott in the fold, McFadden would theoretically be expendable for Dallas. Apparently other NFL teams sensed this as an opportunity to trade for a productive back. However, the Cowboys seem to have no interest in moving McFadden.
I understand them wanting security at the position. However, if teams are making strong offers, the Cowboys simply must seriously consider moving McFadden.
Elliott is obviously the guy for Dallas at the running back position. Selling high on McFadden would make a ton of sense for Jerry Jones and company.
The Cowboys even have Alfred Morris to help carry the load behind Elliott. McFadden was great for the Cowboys last season, but between Elliott and Morris the team will be just fine at running back.
If they get a legitimate offer from a team wanting to feature McFadden, the Cowboys must be ready to pull the trigger.
