11. Atlanta Falcons

44.
Things seem fairly stable on offense for the Atlanta Falcons. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones remain in place and aren’t going anywhere. Devonta Freeman is a solid option at running back while Jake Fisher headlines an underrated offensive line.

Throw in a new option at tight end in Austin Hooper and it’s a pretty solid group. Unless something changes in the coming months, the odds are head coach Dan Quinn will stay proactive on building the kind of defense he had in Seattle. That means more high draft picks.

Since they went secondary this year, odds say they move back to the front seven. Since they have their edge presence in Vic Beasley, they have to make sure they give him ample opportunities by improving their push up the middle. Malik McDowell would be that answer.

He shows tons of promise for the Spartans last season with his ability to shoot up the field through gaps. He’s got length and quickness to catch blockers off balance and then enough speed to not let ball carriers get away. If he learns how to finish, he and Beasley would be a nasty combination.
. DT. Michigan State. Malik McDowell . 11. player
