20. Jacksonville Jaguars

Northwestern. Anthony Walker . 20. player. 52.
Landing Myles Jack was a stroke of good fortune even though his future is clouded by injury concerns. Odds are the Jacksonville Jaguars will move him to outside linebacker, leaving a void in the middle behind Paul Posluszny. He turns 32 in October.

How much longer he can play at a high level is a mystery, but the Jaguars are at a point where they can start thinking about drafting for down the road. In other words stashing a player who will eventually take his place.

It’s hard not to love a kid like Anthony Walker. A try-hard linebacker who does everything asked of him. He makes tackles, can blitz, plays the run and doesn’t lack the range to cover running backs. His size might present problems against tight ends but aside from that his game has proven productive. The key for the Jaguars will be in how they are able to protect him.

In other words, they have to keep opposing offensive line away from him. The size problem really shows up when he’s trying to shed blocks. When allowed to run free, Walker is always around the football.
. ILB
