60.
Adrian Peterson is still a freak of nature, but even he is mortal. Running backs who excel into their 30s are rare and it’s only a matter of time before even the mighty Peterson begins to break down from the heavy loads he’s shoulders for years.

The Minnesota Vikings have to know it’s coming. Teddy Bridgewater may be in place at quarterback but his success to date has come because he has a strong running game to lean on. This team has to ensure that doesn’t change. With all due respect to Jerick McKinnon, he’s not a feature back type. That is what they want to find.

Prior to his unfortunate knee injury last season, Nick Chubb was viewed as one of the three best backs in college football. Quite a thing to say given the wealth of talent at that position lately. A classic throwback, Chubb packs a lot of power and effort into a shorter 5-foot-10 frame.

He gets north-south fast, finds the hole and has the speed to hit it. Tacklers bounce off him at times. Such a traditional style makes it easy to overlook the fact he can catch the ball too. If his knee shows no ill-effects and he has a good year, this could be a great heir to the Peterson crown.
. RB. Georgia. Nick Chubb . 29. player
