Check out the paraglider in Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Nintendo has released a new gameplay clip that shows the different ways Link will be able to use the paraglider.

In the recent trend of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild clips being released by Nintendo, each clip has revealed a different aspect of the game and they all look amazing. On Wednesday, Nintendo revealed yet another clip showing off how Link will use the paraglider in a variety of ways.

This isn’t the first time that Link will be using a paraglider. In other games, like The Wind Waker and Skyward Sword, Link used the paraglider as a way of transportation. For example, in The Wind Waker, he used it to get from point A to point B. If he was on a platform and there was another platform with a gap in between, he would use the glider to get across.

In Skyward Sword, it was used in the same way. But, when he would leave Skyloft to go to the land under the clouds, he would use the sailcloth to break his fall and not take damage. In Breath of the Wild, he’ll do all of these things with the paraglider and much more.

In the new gameplay footage, you see Link jump a mountain and he uses the paraglider to glide through the air. Throughout the footage, you also see him use the paraglider in different ways, such as getting the drop on his enemies.

With the paraglider, he’s able to float above his enemies and drop bombs on them, which ultimately defeats them. He’s also able to use his bow and arrow in mid air to attack the enemies. Lastly, he plunges his sword into the land and whoever is in his way will definitely get hurt.

Other than the paraglider, you see some more combat mechanics and the visually stunning world that we’ll be able to explore in Breath of the Wild.
