A look at how to watch Friday night’s game between the Furman Paladins and Michigan State Spartans online.
Most teams in college football will kick off their 2016 season on the weekend of September 2nd. This will see teams battle for position in their respective conferences, and look to get toward the goal of winning a championship.
One of the games slated for Friday night will see the Furman Paladins take on the Michigan State Spartans, who are ranked No. 12 in the nation.
Michigan State is coming off a 12-2 season in 2015. They made it to the College Football Playoff as well, but lost to No. 2 Alabama in the semifinals at the Cotton Bowl. Sparty would finish the year No. 6 in the AP and Coaches polls.
MSU will have to move on from quarterback Connor Cook, who got selected by the Oakland Raiders in the 2016 NFL Draft. They’ll turn to Tyler O’Connor, a redshirt senior who is receiving his first chance at starting. He has played the backup role since 2013.
O’Connor will get a chance to shine against Furman, and display a skill set that has waited in the wings for four years. With four touchdowns to his resume over the past two years, could he equal that on Friday night?
Furman is coming off a 4-7 season, and will likely be in for a rough evening. To stand a chance against Michigan State, they will need everything to go their way, with some luck included.
With this in mind, here’s a look at how to watch Furman vs. Michigan State on Friday night.
