On Thursday, the NFL preseason games will continue to wrap up in Week 4. This will see teams evaluate players that could make their respective rosters before the 2016 regular season begins next Thursday.
One of Thursday’s games will see the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. This is a battle of two teams in the Southeast region of the country.
The Jaguars come into this preseason game at 1-2. They recently defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 26-21, and will look for a .500 record on Sept. 1.
Jacksonville received solid production from running back Joe Banyard in Week 3, rushing for 54 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries. T.J. Yeldon also had 34 yards on just five rushes. These two, along with Denard Robinson, will likely be their top options in the backfield this season.
The Falcons come into this game at 2-1. However, they lost their third preseason game to the Miami Dolphins, 17-6, last week.
Quarterbacks Matt Ryan, Matt Schaub and Sean Renfree all saw significant action. They had 10 passing attempts, and Ryan and Schaub even had over 100 yards a piece. Renfree had just 35 yards.
Wide receiver Aldrick Robinson stepped up as well, gaining 70 receiving yards on three receptions.
