Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was the celebrity guest picker on College GameDay at Lambeau Field on Saturday and took a nice jab at former Texas coach Mack Brown.
Aaron Rodgers still holds a grudge over former Texas head coach Mack Brown for his California Golden Bears not making a BCS bowl in early 2005.
Rodgers’ Bears held a slight advantage over Brown’s Longhorns in the BCS standings going into the final week of the season, the computers (and Brown’s “lobbying” to the voters) put Texas into the Rose Bowl over Cal.
The two-time NFL MVP hasn’t forgotten and took a solid jab at Brown during College GameDay on Saturday for the LSU-Wisconsin showdown at Lambeau Field.
When he was asked to pick between the No. 10 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the unranked Longhorns, Rodgers was hesitant, but selected the ‘Horns in the upset and slipped the jab at Brown fluently.

The best athletes in sports don’t forget the little things like that and Rodgers, arguably the best quarterback in the NFL today, hasn’t forgotten about not playing in the Rose Bowl 11 years ago.
In terms of on-air jabs, it wasn’t the best one ever seen, but Rodgers came out of the prediction gate swinging with haymakers and connected with one.
Later in the predictions, Rodgers picked Oklahoma against Houston because his fiance’ Olivia Munn attended Oklahoma and Alabama to beat old rival USC in Arlington.
The big pick Rodgers made was his “home-state” Wisconsin Badgers to upset the LSU Tigers. One would assume he’d do that because he’s been seen supporting Badgers basketball in the past and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Plus, he probably wants to be cheered at Lambeau this season with the Packers and not booed for picking against them.
