Bolu Olorunfunmi pushed the UCLA Bruins to within eight points in the fourth quarter, scoring the first touchdown of his college career.
The UCLA Bruins headed to College Station, TX as the favorite to win their battle against the Texas A&M Aggies. However, the Aggies have outplayed the Bruins from the opening kickoff, and led by 15 with a little over four minutes left in the game.
The Bruins would not go quietly into the night, driving down the field and setting up a touchdown run by sophomore Bolu Olorunfunmi. The second-year back played in limited action during the 2015 season, and had only five rushes before his big score. The nine-yard touchdown not only pulled the Bruins to within a score, but also was Olorunfunmi’s first of his collegiate career.
Olorunfunmi took the handoff from Bruins quarterback Josh Rosen and made a ridiculous second-effort to get into the end zone. He appeared to be down at about the three yard line, but instead kept his knees off the ground, and walked in for the score. The touchdown swung the momentum to UCLA, and set up a nice finish at Kyle Field.

The Bruins came into the game as the 16th ranked team in the country, boasting one of the best quarterbacks in the nation. Josh Rosen had said previously that he would not be phased by the large crowd at Kyle Field, which was around 102,000 on Saturday. Rosen had looked lost all game long, failing to throw a touchdown for only the second time in his career.

If the Bruins can find a way to come back, they will have some good momentum heading into next week. They play the Stanford Cardinal and All-American running back Christian McCaffrey in three weeks, so they will have to get their defense in line before that matchup.
