A look at how to watch Saturday’s college football game of Bowling Green vs Ohio State online.
Saturday, September 3 will see the first Saturday slate of games for the 2016 college football season. The season already got underway in the end of August, with a game being played around the world, and a couple of contests taking place on Thursday and Friday.
One game that will feature a top-ranked team is the No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes. They will take on the Bowling Green Falcons.
After winning the 2015 National Championship, Ohio State missed out on the 2016 College Football Playoff. They faced inconsistent quarterback play throughout the season, including going back and forth between Cardale Jones and JT Barrett. The latter will start at quarterback for the 2016 season with Jones off to the NFL.
Ohio State had to replace 16 starters in the offseason, including quarterback-turned-wide-receiver Braxton Miller. He provided a unique spark to the Buckeyes offense with his speed on receptions and the kick return game. Others like 2016 first round picks Darron Lee, Eli Apple, and Joey Bosa on the OSU roster will need substitutes as well. It’s a lot of team speed on defense to replace, which won’t happen overnight.
Ezekiel Elliott may be the team’s biggest loss, though. He had arguably been the nation’s top running back in 2015, but opted for the draft and got selected No. 4 overall by the Dallas Cowboys. Mike Weber should replace Elliott in the backfield, barring injury. Can he come close to the former star running back’s production?
With this in mind, here’s a look at how to watch Bowling Green vs Ohio State on Saturday afternoon.
