The Georgia Bulldogs will take on the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday, Sept. 3 from the Georgia Dome. Here’s how to watch the game online.
Nick Chubb and the Georgia Bulldogs had quite the heartbreaking 2015 season in college football. Not only did they have to suffer through the running back’s horrific leg injury, but they fell short of expectations as well. The latter part cost Mark Richt his job, but now Kirby Smart is in-tow. With Smart on the sideline and Chubb back healthy, Georgia is ready to take on 2016. They’ll start doing that on Saturday, Sept. 3 as they take on the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Georgia Dome.
There’s more than just the return of Chubb to watch for with the Bulldogs. Greyson Lambert is also back for another year at quarterback. However, he could be much improved after beating out freshman Jacob Eason for the job. That’s at least the hope from Smart and company, because they’ll need Lambert to be that good considering that there are still questions about Chubb’s effectiveness after his injury.
North Carolina lost some major pieces, most notably quarterback Marquise Williams. However, junior Mitch Trubisky will step in as his replacement. Trubisky has shown flashes when on the field in recent years and now is his time to shine. The Tar Heels made it to the ACC Championship Game last season. However, they’ll have to prove themselves for everyone believe they can return.
This game will be broadcast on ESPN on Saturday. Live streaming will be available through WatchESPN. You may access WatchESPN online or through the app using a cable or satellite subscription.

Even just for the return of Chubb, Georgia vs North Carolina is can’t-miss football. However, that it’s happening in a matchup between two ranked teams in Week 1 is an added bonus.
