LSU vs Wisconsin preview, prediction, betting odds
No. 5 LSU Tigers vs Wisconsin Badgers
As far as wins go, the LSU Tigers saw their season fall apart late in 2015. However, it’s a new year and Les Miles group has much higher hopes. Like you’d expect, much of that hope lies in Leonard Fournette continuing to run all over defenses. We’ll see just how much he’s going to run over the rest of the country starting on Saturday. LSU will travel north to Lambeau Field for a big time matchup with the Wisconsin Badgers out of the Big Ten.

Keys to Victory
The easy answer as to what LSU’s keys to victory would be to say how they hand the ball to Fournette throughout the day. However, the actual key to victory is going to be Brandon Harris returning at quarterback. Harris was a big reason for their struggles last season. Now they’ll be looking for him to grow up and help lead the way for the Tigers this season. That begins with a tough matchup against a stout Big Ten defense.
For the Badgers, they have another running back of their own in Corey Clement. Much like with their opponents in LSU, though, they need their quarterback to come up big. Bart Houston has the starting job for Wisconsin, but is almost wholly unproven. So now the question is if he can even just manage the game on Saturday against a Les Miles defense.

Betting Odds
LSU enters this game as the 14-point favorites over the Badgers. However, it looks like they aren’t expecting a total barn-burner in Lambeau. The over/under line is currently only set at 45 points.
Prediction
Quite frankly, it was hard to love LSU for much of last season even with Fournette on the field. There’s reason to be much more confident in the Tigers, though. Meanwhile, there’s reason to believe that the Badgers won’t be as good overall—even with Clement coming back into the fold. Subsequently, this should be an easy victory for LSU.
