Before their season opener at home against UC Davis, Oregon unveiled some new uniforms in typical Oregon fashion.
In terms of uniforms, not many (if any) do it better than the Oregon Ducks.
That didn’t change on Saturday, as the Ducks revealed their uniform for the season-opening game at home against UC Davis.
Are they good? Well, of course they are.

It’s hard to make a gray-colored uniform in any sport look good, but Oregon nails it with their look for Saturday’s game. They’re one of the few teams in the country that can use alternate colors in a uniform and make it look good. Plus, the jersey almost looks like a comfortable t-shirt created by Nike.
Heck, Oregon made pink look good with a uniform two seasons ago. Nobody does it better than the Ducks do.
The uniform is unique because the black numbering on the shoulders differ from the main ones on the front and back of the jersey. A matte finish on the helmet is always a great choice with the recognizable “O” on each side.
The bottom is sleek in the model because of the all-black look, but those gloves? They’re beautiful. Every pair of football gloves needs a logo on them and no mascot is better to have on a pair than Puddles the Duck. That’s not an opinion. That’s just a fact. Puddles is wonderful.
It’s been a busy summer for the Ducks off the field. They recently revealed the Marcus Mariota Performance Center with loads of their uniform combinations on the inside of the building and this week’s uniform will shortly join the rest of Oregon’s wacky and wonderful uniforms of the past.

It’s just Week 1 of the college football season, but the Oregon Ducks are once again shutting the uniform game down already.
