New Horizon Zero Dawn footage revealed by Game Informer

As part of Game Informer’s month of exclusive content on Horizon Zero Dawn, they’ve released a new trailer showing off new footage.

There’s no doubt that PlayStation has some of the best first-party content in the video game industry and with Horizon Zero Dawn, they look to expand their list of great exclusive games.

In the month of October, Game Informer’s cover has been revealed for Horizon Zero Dawn and for the whole month, they will be delivering exclusive content on the upcoming game.

Developer Guerrilla Games has been developing Horizon Zero Dawn since 2011, so it’s evident that they’ve put a lot of time into this game. Looking very promising in its reveal at E3 2015, fans everywhere were extremely excited to learn more about this game.

In Horizon Zero Dawn, you’ll play as Aloy, a hunter who lives in a world of robots. Living a life where she hasn’t experienced all that the world has to offer, she sets off on her journey to figure out why she has been sheltered this whole time and she doesn’t take long to figure out all the dangers and trials that lie ahead.

As for the gameplay, Aloy is an archer, so most of the combat revolves around her using ranged attacks, along with melee attacks at close range. The robots are mechanized dinosaur-like creatures and their sizes range from small to large. She will encounter various of these creatures along the way.

Guerrilla Games has been developing many games exclusively on the PlayStation for quite some time and they have delivered. Mostly known for the Killzone series, they felt it was time to expand their horizons (no pun intended) and work on an entirely new IP.
