24. Baltimore Ravens (via HOU)

24. player. 26.
Part of the success in the Baltimore Ravens offense the past few years was their interior blocking on the offensive line. Marshall Yanda is one of the best guards in football and so was teammate Kelechi Osemele. Unfrotunately he was lost to Oakland in free agency, leaving a sizable void in the trenches the team must try to fill. That also doesn’t account for them leaning on journeyman veteran Jeremy Zuttah at center. Perhaps finding a player with some interior versatility is what they need.

Ohio State standout Pat Elflein may be their solution. He was arguably the best offensive lineman the team had in 2015, even more so than eventual first-round tackle Taylor Decker. Elflein plays with an edge, delivering strong blows in the run game and showing enough mobility to reach the second level, springing runners for big gains.

His versatility to move from guard to center also is a bonus. Hand use, anchor and footwork are up to snuff. Pass rushers won’t get by him with any sort of regularity. No matter which spot it is, Elflein should be able to start from day one.
. OG. Ohio State. Pat Elflein
