With the PlayStation Meeting happening on Wednesday, September 7, here are three things we expect Sony to announce.

A few weeks back, Sony announced that they will be holding a PlayStation conference at the PlayStation Theater in New York. Although the event will only be open to press members, the event will be live streamed for those at home.

We’ll be able to watch the event at live.playstation.com on Wednesday, September 7, starting at 3:00 p.m. ET/ 12:00 p.m. PT.

In the next couple of slides, you’ll see some things we expect them to reveal at the meeting. The focus is more than likely to be on new hardware, but maybe we’ll see some more things that the company has up their sleeve.

3. Game announcements and footage

This is definitely a stretch, especially since it has already been rumored that the conference will focus mainly on new hardware, but you never know. With the extensive lineup of games that the PS4 has in store for the rest of the year and 2017, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some new footage of an already announced game or footage of a brand new game.

Some exclusive games that are confirmed to release later this year are The Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2. Considering that we haven’t seen much of The Last Guardian since E3 2016, maybe we’ll get some new footage of the game running on the new hardware to showcase its power. The same thing goes for Gravity Rush 2, which has already shown improved visuals.

We may also see some new footage of games that are scheduled to release in 2017. For example, games like Horizon Zero Dawn and Persona 5 are scheduled to release next year, and they’re widely anticipated by many. We also have God of War to be excited for, but we haven’t heard much since its reveal. Regardless, it would be great to see some footage of these games.
