1. PlayStation Neo and PlayStation VR

The PlayStation Neo, also known as the PS 4.5, was rumored before E3 2016 even began. Although it wasn’t revealed at the show, we already began to speculate about what exactly it would be, and we pretty much knew that its reveal would come soon enough.

The Neo will reportedly support 4K resolution, which means that the graphics will be top notch for all games. Other than that, the new system will have upgraded specs in every category. For example, faster speeds, running at 2.1 GHz rather than 1.6 GHz like the regular PS4, a more advanced AMD GPU, and 218 GB/s of memory bandwidth.

Overall, the Neo will be a better console in every way, but it’s still a PS4. If you don’t really mind slightly lesser graphics or a console’s performance, then it may not be for you. But if it is revealed, it will definitely be a superior machine. To prove that, they may demo an already released game on the new console to show just how powerful it is.

Another detail that may be touched on is PlayStation VR. We already know that it will be launching on October 13 and that there’s a variety of games lined up for it, but what else will it have in store?

Maybe we’ll see that the new hardware is better suited to support VR, and if it’s touched on in the conference, that’ll most likely be the case. We may also see some demos of VR games that are set to release soon.
