The 49ers are hoping that the Chip Kelly era can get off to a good start.

The Rams will be rolling with Case Keenum at quarterback. No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff will be inactive for the game, as the team is trying not to rush him. The 49ers will start Blaine Gabbert at quarterback and they are hoping he can carry the offense.
