Ben McAdoo inspired Giants with Game Of Thrones death scene
New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo used Game Of Thrones to motivate his players.
McAdoo will have to pull out all the tricks in the book to try to get the Giants to win the NFC East. Thanks to a significantly improved defense and a healthy offense, the Giants should contend for the NFC East title. McAdoo used a unique motivational tactic when he showed his players a death scene from Game of Thrones.
“He showed a dog attacking somebody,” an anonymous player said to the New York Post. “And basically that’s our mindset.”
If you’re a fan of the show, you probably know who the character is. Should you need to remind yourself, here is the scene (spoilers).
McAdoo’s message was that the Giants need to be like the dogs that attacked a certain character. It seems to be working, as the Giants appear to be a team hungry for success in 2016.

“It was just about being hungry, and coming to work every day”, added wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. “Just being the hungriest team in the NFL.”
Beckham will need to enter the 2016 season hungry with enemy Josh Norman on the Washington Redskins. Circle Sept. 25 and Jan. 1 on your calendar because those are the two games this year that will feature Beckham squaring off against Norman.
The Giants are in a good position to contend in the NFC East. Tony Romo’s injury is going to set the Dallas Cowboys back a bit. The Philadelphia Eagles won’t make it easy on the Giants, but they are a rebuilding team. New York will have to take down the Washington Redskins, last season’s division champion, in order to return to the playoffs. With an improved supporting cast, the Giants should be a very hungry team in 2016.
