Oklahoma State is making some money off the hairstyle of head coach Mike Gundy, who still is adamant that he does not have a real mullet.

By now, it may be the most talked about hairstyle in all of college football this season. When Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy showed up to Big 12 media days this summer, it was all about the now famous mullet that he was rocking.

Gundy has been very adamant that he doesn’t have an actual mullet, telling the media back in July the following:

"“It’s not a real mullet. A real mullet has to be at least shoulder length and you’ve got to have some curls in it.”"

Whether it meets the definition of what the hairstyle technically is (for the record, I’m voting for the mullet category when looking at Gundy), the Cowboys are at least making a little coin off their coach’s lack of style when it comes to his hair.

That’s right, for just $24.99 for a short sleeve shirt ($27.99 if you want a long sleeve one), you too can have some apparel that is showing the business in Gundy’s front and the party in his back.

So far in the 2016 season, Gundy’s mullet is undefeated after a 61-7 victory in the opener over the always tough FCS opponent Southeastern Louisiana. The mullet will have two more likely wins against Central Michigan this Saturday and Pittsburgh the following weekend before facing Big 12 opponents Texas and Baylor.

After the events of last weekend, including conference favorite Oklahoma losing their opener, the Cowboys are now back in the conversation for making a run at the Big 12 title. If they are able to win the conference, it would be just their third league crown since the 1976 season began, so that mullet might stick around for a while longer.
