Arkansas Razorbacks quarterback Austin Allen takes it into the end zone himself to lift his team to victory in double overtime over the TCU Horned Frogs.

Down 38-35 to the No. 15 TCU Horned Frogs in double overtime, Arkansas Razorbacks starting quarterback Austin Allen decides to take it in himself on a third and five for the game-winning touchdown for the Hogs.

Allen was huge for Arkansas in this tough road game against an elite Big 12 team in TCU. He complete 17-29 passes for 223 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. On the ground, Allen gained only two yards on three carries, but his five-yard pay dirt was the difference.

This was the only game on the slate in Week 2 that had a ranked team as less than a 10-point favorite. TCU struggled to keep South Dakota State out of the end zone in its Week 1 opener. Though Arkansas struggled in victory against Louisiana Tech, the Razorbacks were victorious 21-20 over the Bulldogs.

In a non-conference battle between two former Southwest Conference rivals, this game did not disappoint. It ends up as a huge win for the Razorbacks. A victory over the No. 15 team in the nation could put the Razorbacks into the AP Top 25 Poll in Week 3.

TCU may not fall out of the Top 25, but this is yet another early blow to the Big 12’s College Football Playoff chances. The Oklahoma Sooners, the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and now the Horned Frogs have early non-conference defeats on the season.

Those three schools will have to run the table to have a shot at making the College Football Playoff. This might leave the door open for Big 12 schools like the Baylor Bears, the Texas Longhorns, or the Texas Tech Red Raiders to potentially win the conference and make the Playoff.

For Arkansas, the Razorbacks look like a dangerous team in the SEC at 2-0. Arkansas and rival Texas A&M looked especially dominant here in Week 2 of the 2016 college football season.
