The Lamar Cardinals face the Houston Cougars at TDECU Stadium on Saturday. Here’s what you need to watch the game online.

Without question, the Houston Cougars opened the 2016 college football season with a statement. One year removed from winning the Peach Bowl, the Cougars began their season with a huge win over the Oklahoma Sooners, a top-five team entering the season. Now the Cougars’ schedule eases up in Week 2. Houston hosts the Lamar Cardinals at TDECU Stadium on Saturday.

The Cougars climbed all the way to No. 6 in the polls after the Oklahoma win and rightfully so. Star quarterback Greg Ward Jr. looked like a Heisman Trophy candidate in Week 1, and that was with minimal use of his dangerous running ability. Lamar vs Houston doesn’t offer near the same challenge for Ward, thus he should be in store for a monster day. Though it’s doubtful they have the talent, Lamar’s chief concern will be trying to mildly contain the quarterback.

Lamar on the other hand has to hope that senior running back Kade Harrington can find any room to work. He’s the Cardinals biggest weapon by a mile. He’ll need to have some sort of success on the ground for Lamar to have a shot at an upset on Saturday.
