Live Stream and how to watch Jacksonville State (1-0) vs LSU (0-1) on television and online on Saturday, September 10.

LSU is looking for its first win of the 2016 season as it takes on the Jacksonville State University Gamecocks on Saturday. LSU lost a close game to Wisconsin during the season opener, losing 14-16 at Wisconsin. They’re looking to battle back in a nonconference game at home against Jacksonville State University, who are 1-0 after beating neighboring North Alabama last week 31-12.

While the Gamecocks are coming off of last week’s win, the team’s thoughts and prayers are with one of their own this week as Jacksonville State cornerback Keegan Hill is battling complications from a severe bacterial infection. The freshman from Carrollton, Georgia, has been hospitalized and is receiving treatment for the infection, which is currently causing life-threatening pressure on his brain according to coach John Grass. The team has had a representative from the team with Hill and his family every day as he battles for his life.

LSU was dogged by weak performance from both sides in the Wisconsin game and they’re looking to jump-start the offense after quarterback Brandon Harris’ lackluster outing, going 12-of-21 with 131 yards and two interceptions. One of those interceptions caused the Tigers to lose the game and tumble in college football polls. Coach Les Miles has fielded questions all week about making changes to the lineup but has not made any decisions yet.

Ahead of their 2016 campaign, Jacksonville State was tabbed No. 5 in a recent FCS poll. In 2015 the Gamecocks finished with a 13-2 record and went all the way to the FCS title game where they lost 37-10 to North Dakota State. With teammate Keegan Hill on their minds, don’t count out the Gamecocks just yet.
