Manchester United faces Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sept. 10. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
The Manchester Derby is a rivalry as old as time. Although Manchester United holds a sizable advantage in the all-time record, Manchester City has caught up to them. With Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola manning the sidelines, this year’s edition will make for appointment television. It doesn’t matter that this game starts at 7:30 a.m., you must get up early for this one.
Manchester City has looked like a Pep Guardiola team. They are undefeated in the Premier League so far, but they are winning in style. However, their start to the season hasn’t come without controversy. Namely, Guardiola kept Joe Hart out of the squad, and eventually pushed him out the door when he signed Claudio Bravo from Barcelona.
This will be Bravo’s first game for Manchester City, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already done his part to welcome him to the Premier League. For Mourinho’s Manchester United side, their new signings have been vital to their undefeated start so far.
Zlatan has scored three times in his first two games, while Paul Pogba has been as good as advertised. They nearly dropped two points to Hull City in their last game, but Marcus Rashford scored the winner in
Fergie
Mourinho time.
