These are the five best fantasy options for the game between the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals.

The New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals will kick off Sunday Night Football with a game in the desert. While an exciting game on paper, the New England Patriots will be without Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and a good portion of their offensive line. That means that for fantasy football players, there will be some players to play and some to sit. These are the five best options heading into Sunday.

5. Martellus Bennett

With Rob Gronkowski out, Martellus Bennett is going to get a lot thrown his way. The Cardinals’ defense historically struggles against tight ends and Bennett is a smart play this week. Bennett might go his way more than normal.

4. John Brown

The Patriots are going to try to shut off the deep pass from Carson Palmer. However, Palmer’s going to look for his speedster for the big play down the field. Brown is a wise play here and he should have a big day through the air.

3. David Johnson

There is no easier play than David Johnson. The star running back is going to look to show that he’s the next big thing on Sunday Night Football. He tore through the preseason with ease just like he did the regular season last year. Expect a healthy dose of him getting the football.

2. Julian Edelman

If Jimmy Garoppolo is going to rely on a couple of guys to get him through this one, Julian Edelman will be one. The Cardinals secondary is suspect at the cornerback spot outside Patrick Peterson. The Patriots will throw to Edelman a lot to test them.

1. Arizona Defense

The Cardinals have added Chandler Jones to boost their pass rush. They also have added Robert Nkemdiche to a defense that features Calais Campbell, Markus Golden and Deone Bucannon as guys that will get after the quarterback. With the Patriots missing their starting tackles, the Cardinals are going to feast and the secondary is going to have opportunities to make plays.
