These are the best fantasy football options for the game between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers.

The Los Angeles Rams will officially make their return against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. Neither of these teams like other and it will be a renewal of a great rivalry between the two. It’s also a game that will decide a lot of fantasy football games, as it’s the final game of the week. With two teams starting quarterbacks that aren’t the long term starter, the running backs will get their chance to put up points. These are the five best fantasy plays from this game.

5. Greg Zuerlein

In a game like this, points could be hard to come by. These two teams have slugged it out before and it has come down to the legs of the kickers. Greg Zuerlein is a good bet in this one to get plenty of opportunities to kick the football. He will be a good play for fantasy owners.

4. Torrey Smith

With Blaine Gabbert starting, he’s going to look for his favorite receiver in Torrey Smith. The two of them connected on some big plays last season. With the Rams’ secondary featuring some new faces, the 49ers and Chip Kelly’s offense will try to test them.

3. Los Angeles Defense

The Rams might be a work in progress on offense, but they got a great defense. Aaron Donald and Robert Quinn will try to get after Blaine Gabbert, which will allow for fumbles and interceptions. This is a very safe play and a chance for some decent points, if they can do their thing.

2. Carlos Hyde

Carlos Hyde is going to get plenty of touches. In Chip Kelly’s offense, he might get even more touches than he normally would. If he gets out in space, he’s going to be hard for the defense to bring down. He’s the best play from San Francisco.

1. Todd Gurley

The best play this week is a man that went No. 1 overall in many fantasy drafts. Todd Gurley is going to get a majority of the touches, as the Rams still try to find a passing game. If he breaks a big one, fantasy owners can rejoice.
