College Football AP Poll 2016, Week 3

The AP Poll was revealed after Week 2 of college football action, and where did the crazy weekend leave the lay of the land?

We are now two weeks into the College Football season, and already there have been shakeups left and right. It was a crazy first week and while there weren’t as many home run matchups this past weekend, the action as still rollicking.

Florida State, Ohio State and Houston all took big jumps in the Top-10, while the likes of Notre Dame and LSU tumbled following bad losses. Wisconsin and Georgia benefited from these losses, each cracking the Top-10, if only barely.

The second week of action in College Football again provided us with some upsets. Oklahoma State went down, there were tight games had by some o the best teams in the country and the AP Poll no doubt was effected by this.

Then again, we had some pretty severe blowouts as well. Texas and Oklahoma both represented the Big 12 pretty well with rousing wins, with Miami, Tennessee and Ole Miss all notching up big wins as they try to make ground in the poll.

Here’s a look at what the AP Poll looks like now that we’re two weeks into the College Football season:

Outside of the Top-10, Texas couldn’t make it past their 11th place ranking — not that it’s something to panic about. The Longhorns took a big leap last week and are still in prime position to make a run in the coming weeks.
