Here is a list of all the inactive players for the Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans for their Week 1 matchup at Nashville.
It’s the start of another NFL season and in Nashville it’s a clash between two clubs that finished on completely opposite ends of their respective divisions a year ago.
The Minnesota Vikings won their final three games in 2015, including the season finale at Lambeau Field, and captured the NFC North. The Tennessee Titans wound up with three wins and two head coaches last season, with Mike Mularkey replacing Ken Whisenhunt after seven contests. The former is now the team’s sideline leader heading into this tilt.
The Titans also have a new backfield combination in DeMarco Murray (who led the NFL in rushing with the Cowboys in 2014) and rookie Derrick Henry. New general manager Jon Robinson added a third first-round pick to the offensive line in April in tackle Jack Conklin.
Meanwhile, the Purple Gang counters with the league’s top ground-gainer of a year ago in Adrian Peterson. Both rushing attacks will be in the spotlight in this tilt.
Of course, plenty of eyes will be on veteran quarterback Shaun Hill, who gets the start for Mike Zimmer’s team despite the recent acquisition of Sam Bradford. There is no question mark when it comes to Mularkey’s signal-caller as Marcus Mariota looks to up his game following a promising rookie showing.

With defensive minds such as Zimmer and Titans coordinator Dick LeBeau in the mix, this should be an intriguing chess match. Both Hill and Mariota will need to be on their toes against two units that can get after the passer. And don’t be surprised if points are very hard to come by in this affair.
