Real Madrid face Sporting at the Bernabeu on Wednesday. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Reigning Champions League winners Real Madrid have taken all nine points from their first three La Liga matches this season. Cristiano Ronaldo has missed all but 65 minutes as he recovers from the knee injury he sustained in the Euro 2016 final, but Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane recently stated that his star is good to go for the full 90 minutes against Sporting, the club where Ronaldo got his start.
Sporting have also had a fast start to their league season, winning their first four matches. Joel Campbell, on loan from Arsenal, has already made his mark, scoring in Sporting’s 3-0 win this past weekend. Ronaldo’s boyhood club would like nothing more than to shock Madrid at home, but it will take something special to get a result against this collection of superstars.
