Tottenham face Monaco at White Hart Lane on September 14, 2016. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Tottenham have returned to the Champions League for the first time since 2011. They are coming off an excellent 2015-16 season that saw them fall short of the title, yet still lead the league in goal difference. They’ve gotten off to a slow start so far, but picked up a much-needed 4-0 win over Stoke this weekend. While this is their first foray into the Champions League in over five years, they compete in Europe frequently, so they know how to balance the two competitions.
A win against Monaco will be hard to come by, though. Before the season started, they received a big boost when Radamel Falcao announced he would be returning to the Ligue 1 side. They currently sit at the top of the table, and even beat long-reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain 3-1. There’s never been a better time for Monaco to claim the league title than this year. A successful Champions League campaign can help them build momentum during the season.
The Champions League match between Tottenham and Monaco will be broadcast in certain regions on Fox Sports. Live streaming is available on Fox Soccer 2GO and WatchESPN, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through their mobile app.

The last time Tottenham were in the Champions League, they made it all the way to the quarterfinals before losing to Real Madrid. It was in that year that Gareth Bale became a star, as his hat-trick against Inter Milan was an unforgettable moment. Given how good Harry Kane has looked for Tottenham, it’s his turn to make his mark on the Champions League.
