Here is the latest updates on New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who left with a knee injury against the Buffalo Bills.
While the New York Jets were rolling in the first half against the Buffalo Bills, there was concern over the knee of wide receiver Brandon Marshall. After Stephon Gilmore tackled him, Marshall’s cleat got stuck in the ground as his body twisted and he fell to the ground in pain.
He clutched his knee as trainers attended to him and it did not look good. He was taken off the field and would gingerly walk to the locker room. The Jets would proceed to score a touchdown, but everyone was more worried about losing Ryan Fitzpatrick’s favorite target.
The good news is that he would make his way back to the sideline still in a uniform. Then on the Jets’ next offensive position, Marshall would get in the game and catch a big pass against Gilmore again. It was clear his knee was still bother him, as he limped after the play.
The good news is that it doesn’t appear to be serious. The only question is how the Jets want to play it going forward. As of the second quarter, they were clearly fine with putting him back out on the field.
