Feyenoord face Manchester United at De Kuip on Wednesday, Sept.15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Jose Mourinho will look to continue his strong start at Manchester United when his side visits Dutch side Feyenoord in Europa League action. After a tough loss to bitter rivals Man City, United will look to bounce back and work their way back to European glory.

Recent reports say that Wayne Rooney, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Phil Jones will not be part of this match, with no official reason as to why. It appears that Mkhitaryan might have an injury he suffered while on international duty. As for Rooney, it just appears Mourinho wants to rest his captain.

Still, with Mkhitaryan and Rooney absent, Feyenoord still have to deal with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, David De Gea, Juan Mata and many other top players. The Dutch club are undefeated in Eredivisie play, giving up only two goals and scoring 15.

United did struggle in Europa League play last season under Louis van Gaal, but maybe this time it could be a different story.

It’s common to see Premier League teams rest big name players in the early rounds of the Europa League, so it will be interesting to see how Mourinho approaches his first match in the competition. They have what should be a relatively straightforward away game against Watford on Sunday, so it may be worth playing as a strong a team as possible.
