Schalke 04 face Nice at Allianz Riviera on Thursday. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

After placing fifth a season ago in Germany, Schalke have lost each of their first two games in the Bundesliga this year. In fact, Markus Weinzierl’s squad is the only team who has yet to score a goal in league play. Continental play, however, is another matter entirely, and Schalke are currently riding a six-match unbeaten streak in European away games. Reliable even as he ages, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has a better scoring record in European matches than in league play since joining Schalke in 2010.

Nice, on the other hand, have been marvelous to start their league season. Through four games, Nice have three wins and a draw and sit tied at the top of the table with Monaco. In one of the more captivating transfers of the most recent window, the Eaglets acquired prodigal forward Mario Balotelli, who subsequently scored a brace on his debut. How Lucien Favre chooses to deploy his lineup may depend on how best he plans to utilize Balotelli next to Alassane Plea.
