Rest in peace, Harambe! Here is the complete college football binge-watching guide for Week 3.
After an off week for college footb…..Did they play games last week? Okay, so with an actual serious slate of games in college football this week, it’s time for perhaps a day that will shape playoff runs and ultimately crush others. This isn’t just any normal week in college football, this is the John Travolta of weeks for the sport. Ask Oklahoma backup quarterback Austin Kendall about that one. Anyways, here’s the guide to your basic programming of football.
12:00 p.m. ET
There are heavyweight showdowns galore on Saturday. On Saturday, the Louisville Cardinals are dedicating their game to the greatest heavyweight of all time in Muhammad Ali with a special helmet decal. Lamar Jackson and the Cardinals are going to look to float like a butterfly and sting the Florida State Seminoles like a bee. The battle between Jackson and Deondre Francois will be like a title fight.
3:30 p.m. ET
Do you remember the scene in A Christmas Story when Ralphie gets tired of the red-headed kid that keeps messing with him? He just launches himself at a defenseless receiver and then pounds the crap out of the kid. Well, Nick “Ralphie” Saban has about had it with the Ole Miss Rebels and he’s going to attempt to beat up the bully with lefts and rights, while Lane Kiffin runs home to get an adult. It’s Jalen Hurts vs. Chad Kelly. Need I say more?
7:30 p.m. ET
Have you ever seen a football player ran up a flag pole by his jockstrap? Well if Ohio State goes down and throttles the Oklahoma Sooners, Austin Kendall is going to be rung up one with half of Norman saluting. As everyone knows, he called the Ohio State defense “basic” and that has fueled the game for this week. It’s big talk for a backup, but he better hope his instincts are more “basic” than Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone.
That’s not the only good game that will be going on during this hour. Notre Dame will be playing host to Michigan State and it could make or break both program’s chances at competing for a playoff spot. This will be the ultimate test for DeShone Kizer.
8:00 p.m. ET
If there are any Pac-12 fans hoping their conference’s playoff hopes don’t go into the tank on Saturday, look no further than Stanford! The Cardinal are going to play host to the USC Trojans in what could be a preview of the Pac-12 Conference Championship Game.

Simply put, the Trojans can’t afford an embarrassing loss for the second time in three weeks and Stanford can’t open the door for the UPS guy and sign for that “L” on Saturday night. There is plenty at stake for both teams and it should be a great battle on hand.
