While picking games as the celebrity guest picker on ESPN’s College GameDay, Laila Ali wore an awesome tribute shirt of her father, the late great Muhammad Ali.

ESPN did a wonderful thing and had Laila Ali on the set of College GameDay on Saturday morning for the showdown between No. 2 Florida State and No. 10 Louisville.

Her father — the legendary Muhammad Ali — was a native of Louisville and tragically passed away earlier this year. The Louisville football program recognized that Saturday would be the biggest game in the program’s history, so why not bring back the daughter of “The Greatest”?

Laila did an awesome job picking games with the GameDay crew, but it was her shirt of her father that stole the show.

If that shirt comes in a medium somewhere, I’ll buy all of them and wear each one every single day. It’s wonderful.

As you probably can see on the shirt, there’s an emblem of a butterfly on the shirt. The word “ALI” is printed in the middle of the butterfly for Muhammad’s classic “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee!” quote from many years ago.

To the surprise of no one, Laila picked the Cardinals to upset the Seminoles on Saturday at home. It’s not a bad pick either. Lamar Jackson is the hottest commodity in college football through the first couple weeks and he’s become the most explosive player in the country today. If the Cards pull off the upset, Jackson will be a big reason why that happens. He’s really good.

The game certainly feels like a big one for the Cardinals, who can battle with the ‘Noles and the Clemson Tigers for an ACC title this season. Jackson’s play can bolt the Cards right into the title picture with a huge game against Florida State on Saturday.
