For Week 3’s College GameDay, which team did Lee Corso use his headgear selection on between Florida State and Louisville?

Lee Corso is back for his Week 3 headgear pick. After losing with LSU and winning with Tennessee, the former head coach will look to go 2-1 on Saturday with No. 2 Florida State vs. No. 10 Louisville.

This ACC battle will be one of the marquee games early in the season, and has implications on the conference standings. Florida State and Louisville have to contend with Clemson, who dropped in the standings after two close wins. If the Seminoles win, they can continue holding off the Tigers. If not, then the Cardinals will jump into the top 10, looking to make some noise.

The pick would be a difficult one for Corso since both teams are some of college football’s best. Who would he use his third headgear selection on the for 2016 season?

A look at the pick can be seen below.

Corso’s pick of Louisville means he’s going with the underdog, as FSU is favored at -1.0.

In going for an upset, Louisville will need to learn on early season standout, Lamar Jackson. Through two games, the sophomore quarterback has 697 passing yards for 7 touchdowns, and 318 rushing yards for 6 touchdowns. He’s been a force for the team, and is in early contention for the Heisman Trophy. The season is far from over, but if the Cardinals want a chance against their ACC foes, they’ll need Jackson’s superb play for another week.

For the Seminoles, this win is needed to keep their top 2 ranking, especially if Alabama falls to Ole Miss. A somewhat light upcoming schedule should help them keep a top spot as well, with USF, UNC, Miami, and Wake Forest coming up.
