Here’s how to watch Saturday’s SEC East showdown between the Missouri Tigers and No. 16 Georgia Bulldogs online.
The No. 16 Georgia Bulldogs will open their SEC schedule with a trip to Columbia to take on the Missouri Tigers on Saturday night at Farout Field.
Georgia has aspirations of a SEC East title under first-year head coach Kirby Smart, but will need to improve upon an ugly Week 2 outing. The Bulldogs were taken to the wire by Nicholls State, a bottom-tier FCS program, in a 26-24 win following their season-opening victory against North Carolina.
Missouri is also under a first-year head coach in Barry Odom, although the Tigers are expected to finish near the bottom of the division. Following an uninspiring loss to West Virginia to open the season, the Tigers offense got back on track in a 61-21 romp over Eastern Michigan last weekend.
Smart is still deciding on a starting quarterback, as senior Greyson Lambert and hyped freshman Jacob Eason are both expected to play on Saturday. Eason was up and down against Nicholls in his first career start, completing 11 of 20 passes for 204 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
The Bulldogs will hope for a better outing from star running back Nick Chubb, who only racked up 80 yards on 20 carries against Nicholls, with little help from his offensive line. Georgia also needs a better performance from its wide receivers and defensive line before getting deep into SEC play.
Missouri’s hopes for the upset will largely rest on the shoulders of Drew Lock, who tossed five touchdown passes last weekend. The Tigers also feature a stout front seven which could pressure either Georgia quarterback and keep them in the game.
