Titans at Lions: Week 2 inactives
Here’s a list of the inactive players for the Week 2 matchup between the Titans and Lions.
Both the Tennessee Titans and Detroit Lions need a win in Week 2. The Titans absolutely need one after a disappointing loss in Week 1 to the Minnesota Vikings. Even though Detroit got a win in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts, both the Green Bay Packers and Vikings got a win last week. Considering how competitive the NFC North is, it would behoove them to win against a relatively weak opponent.
Detroit will be led by Matthew Stafford, who didn’t look rusty in his first game since Calvin Johnson’s retirement. Though Detroit lacks a true number one receiver without Johnson, they do have a plethora of options, making it hard to lock down on any one player. Theo Riddick and Golden Tate figure to be important parts of their receiving core.
Also keep an eye on Ameer Abdullah. Abdullah was an effective weapon in Week 1 with 120 total yards on 17 touches. He’s effective both as a runner and as a receiver.

Meanwhile, the Titans will have to get more out of quarterback Marcus Mariota. He was OK against the Vikings, but today he will need to keep pace with Stafford. Mariota threw for 271 passing yards with two touchdowns and an interception against the Vikings.
They will also need more out of running back DeMarco Murray, who had 77 total yards against the Vikings, though he did get two touchdowns. Their defense will need to step it up because they will have their hands full today against the Lions.
