Play of the Week: Noah Brown’s third touchdown catch vs. Oklahoma Sooners
Sure, Noah Brown’s four-touchdown performance on the road against the Oklahoma Sooners was enough to make the Ohio State Buckeyes wideout College Football Blitz’s Week 3 Offensive Player of the Week, but it was his unbelievable third touchdown catch that set the college football world ablaze on Saturday night.
Are you kidding?!

It was one of those plays that those who saw it live immediately knew that this was going to be the best catch in college football all season long. On a 2nd-and-10 from the Oklahoma 21-yard line, Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett receives the snap in shotgun. Barrett essentially keeps his eye on Brown the entire time knowing that Brown is on the outside in man coverage.
Brown shakes the corner covering him in Michiah Quick and proceeds to run to the corner at the back of the end zone. With Quick face-guarding him, Brown quickly catches the ball and then instantaneously wraps his arms around Quick to complete the catch in bounds to make it 34-17 Buckeyes before half.

To be able to come down with that touchdown grab with Quick all over him makes this the best catch in the young 2016 college football season. It put Brown on the map as star wide receiver for the Buckeyes. Ohio State needed to reload after losing 11 players to the 2016 NFL Draft. It seems that head coach Urban Meyer has found something special at wideout in Brown.
