15. It seems the New Orleans Saints just can’t figure out their problem. When the offense is humming, the defense falls apart. Then when the defense has a good day, the offense suddenly can’t score. In these situations it’s best not to blame the more reliable situation. That of course is Drew Brees and the offense. New Orleans still hasn’t figured out there problems on defense, and it is costing them.

Outside of Cameron Jordan, who do the Saints have that they can call a legitimate pass rush presence? It used to be Junior Gallette but he couldn’t stay out of trouble. Hau’oli Kikaha can’t stay healthy. There is nobody else. Jordan is a great player but he’s one man. Teams can handle one great pass rusher when he’s by himself. That has to change if New Orleans wants to flip the script.

Considering the fast track of the Superdome, indoor atmosphere and southern mentality the Saints make the right call with Tim Williams. He’s a pure pass rusher with classic 3-4 outside linebacker traits. He’s sleek, explosive and violent with his hands. He knows about playing in the south for Alabama and could be devastating on that indoor track.
. OLB. Alabama. Tim Williams . 6. player
