In the fantasy football world, there is a complete lack of love for kickers. Here at FanSided, though, we’re embracing fantasy football’s most unpredictable position. For our in-house league this year we decided to shake things up a bit and go with an anything-but-boring fantasy football format focused solely on one thing. That’s right — we have can all-kickers fantasy league.

To catch up on the rules and roster setup, check out this post where you can see what a draft looks like when even a second round pick like Robbie Gould can be cut before opening day, and the fact that Will Lutz wasn’t in the system really threw off everyone’s sleeper strategy (or at least mine).

More from Fantasy Football

While we have plenty of traditional fantasy football coverage throughout the week (which you can find in the box to the right), FootSided is the only league where just every single kick and every single score matters. Almost every kicker in the NFL is owned on a roster and it’s extremely easy to track since each team just has two starters. It takes minimal time each week and keeps even Thursday and Monday Night Football games interesting.

It has also been fun to see how the negative points for missing shorter field goals and extra points can prove costly. Players that miss an extra point cost their team three fantasy points which can often make the difference in many of the matchups. Every week there are games that come down to a point or two and the league as a whole remains incredibly unpredictable.

Let’s take a quick look at the scoreboard from Week 2 in our kickers league to see which of our owners came out on the winning side. Some teams are starting to pull away and establish themselves as the teams to beat while others are still searching for their first win–just like the Bills, Bears, Browns, Colts, Jaguars, Dolphins, Saints, and Washington
